I could not be more humbled and honored to have the opportunity to represent my life-long home of St. Joseph in the Michigan legislature. My service as an elected official has allowed me to give back to the communities I represent in ways I hadn't anticipated. In my tenure in the state legislature I have assisted approximately 4,239 families, individuals and businesses. I firmly believe that, as a state representative, the most important thing that I can do is listen to and learn from the people I represent in Michigan's Great Southwest. I have always enjoyed attending various events throughout our community and getting to know more people and the issues that are concerning to them. While I take my duties as an elected official extremely seriously, there is no job that is more important to me than being a husband to my wife Kristy, and a father to our three children Elena, Jack, and Nora.
